Can you guide me to a video on how to replace the damper part # WR60X10062 ? I can’t find one?
Thanks

Searched the web no go. Did find service guide 31-9075 on line but oh my goodness how nice if you have the video on how to.

Hi. I did not find a video for that damper. I did attach a service manual for your style refrigerator which explains how to remove it. It has pictures as well. Start at page 28. I have never seen any issues with this damper before. What did you find wrong with it? This is the damper for the custom cool drawer in the refrigerator section. I have seen many issues with the air damper at the top of the refrigerator section in the air tower. This is very common to fail. p # WR49X10091. I have attached videos for this part in case it was what you are looking for.

Thank you for reply Brian. That service manual is helpful. Service Guide 31-9075 even more so. I found a video on youtube (GE Damper noise) Have a look. Same problem. Thanks

Your welcome. I did not see a link to the you tube video you are talking about. Did you have a link?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rae2Itize5o Not sure if that link will work or not? I just typed in GE Damper Noise and there it was right at the top?

The linked worked. I’ve never seen or ran into that before. It definitely seems like a bad damper. A new one should solve the problem.
