What would make one of the hot surface lights on the stove top stay on even the the burner isn’t hot?
Checked the infinite switches and they all seem to be good.

Im having a hard time finding the tech sheet on your model. If you have access to the tech sheet on your unit, we will need to look at it. It is typically located on the rear of the unit in a bag. WE need to find out where power for the indicator light comes from on you unit. On Most models the power comes from the infinite switches, but maybe its different on this one. If we do not have a tech sheet we can trace the wires back from the light to see where they go to. We could have a shorted wire somewhere causing the light to stay on or it may come out of the board. Let me know what you find out. Could Also be a shorted element of an issue with the element. Check the element that corresponds to the light that is staying on.

Are you sure you pulled off the correct wires from the switches? Try both L1 and L2 until you find the faulty switch. Or trace the wired back from the hot surface light. I believe they will go to the ‘p’ terminal of each switch. You could disconnect each of these wires until you find witch one is sending the power to the light. I hope this helps. I have attached another video to help you.

Update on this I have actually changed all 4 infinite switches and the hot surface light still comes on. I did the unplugging the wire thing as in the video and nothing turned off the light. Anything else that can make this light stay on?

Hello
It sounds like one of the switches are defective or shorted and leaving line voltage to the indicator light. We have a good diagnostic video below on this. Let me know if this helps. Thanks Matt Ace technician

When I unplug the oven the light goes out. I pulled off all the power wires and plug back in and the same light remained on. Any ideas?
