I replaced the clutch and coupler on this washer, and now I’m getting a grinding noise before the spin cycle starts.

I would make sure the clutch you installed is not binding in any way and is installed properly. If that is installed properly we have found transmissions making internal grinding noises. If that is the case you would need to replace the transmission, sometimes parts company’s call the transmission the gearbox.
