My garbage disposal hums -but doesn’t work – there is nothing lodged in the system from above – I have used the wrench and can easily spin the disposal from below in both directions … but when I turn the disposal on, it still just hums and doesn’t turn – is the motor burnt?
The Brand is an InSinkErator – Badger

wrench from below
checked the breakers several times
cleaned the disposal unit from above
