Hello
Frost build up on the top of the evaporator coil can be caused by A number of possibilities.
1) Are you getting proper freezer temperatures ? A sealed system problem can cause frost on the top of the evaporator.
2) An evaporator fan motor not running at the proper speed or intermittently shutting off can cause frost.
3) An evaporator fan motor running in the wrong direction can cause this frost build up. Has the motor been replaced recently ?
4) The main PWC board can intermittently shut the evaporator fan motor off and cause frost build up.
5) Air leakage from door seals or A door that has been left open all night can cause this issue.
