Paul, If you have ice and frost in the freezer and its a self defrosting unit, you most likely have a part of your defrost system going bad.I would start with the defrost timer & defrost thermostat. They can be easily looked up by the model number or you can call parts at 1-800-830-5465 and they will look them up.
