Have been managing the non-existant defrosting by completely thawing out the unit every 5 or 6 months. After the last thaw, the fridge is now freezing everything in the bins and on the lower levels. It sounds as though “something” is trying to kick in every so often, but never does. Don’t know what to do now.
Thanks

HI. The issue of things freezing/ getting too cold in the refrigerator section can be caused by a faulty sensor or control board. Also, could be related to the defrost issue. I have attached some videos on the defrost issue to help you. I would first get the defrost issue taken care of to see if it fixes the freezing issue as well. You could also try defrosting the refrigerator again manually and see if the freezing issue comes back. To thaw it out completely I recommend unplugging the unit for 24 hrs with the doors open. Also, I attached a link to purchase the evaporator assembly which includes all of your defrost parts. IF you need any further help just let me know, and good luck!
