The door is not locked however I’m still getting this message.
It happened once before we unplugged it and it worked fine now however we unplug it we get the power failure message and then F5 E7

Per Whirlpool official tech manual * F5 E7* ” Door will not unlatch. Door unlocked somehow and will not unlatch Check door switch, latch switch”. This error means that door IS unlocked BUT WILL NOT UNLATCH, which is exactly what you are describing. All information available is in Tech sheet previously provided, and you must utilize tech sheet information for resolution. There is no other information to provide. I would start by replacing door latch switch.

The 5F E7 is :
(Door will not unlatch) Error.
Resolution is ( Check door switch latch ) I am sure you will find it defective. . See complete diagnostic technician link below. Matt Ace technician

Hi. The issue is not that the door will not unlock.. It is not Evan locked. I’m just getting that error
