I just replaced the thermostat and found the evap fan motor cycling on and off about every 2-3 seconds. Is this a bad motor or board or ?
Why is it cycling? I have never come across a cycling motor before. It either worked or it didn’t. How can I check to determine IF it is a failing motor?
Thank you

What have you tried so far?

I called my local parts store and that particular model number wasn’t coming up on the computer. Then they called Fridgidaire. They asked me for the serial number and found out that the motor is no longer available. But what they have is another motor for this fridge.
I thought that was odd???

Hello
See the diagnostics for your model oin the links below. If you installed the evaporator fan motor and therm., and it is doing the same thing its most likely not the motor. We have seen the ADC board causing issue many times. I would run it though the daignostics, and check for a steady 115 volts to the motor. but I think you will find the board will correct the issue.
