Drain was plugged but evaporator was completely frozen over.I de-iced but not sure if it’s the board or thermistor or ?

Hello
We start by unplugging the drain and replacing the fresh food thermistor #W10316760. That normally takes care of the issue. Matt Ace technician

Still icing up ! I thought if they leaked Freon in a duel evaporator the freezer warms up first ? Not sure where to go with this one (changed the thermistor and control board)Customer isn’t happy

See the service bulletin link I added for some Kitchen-aid models. Is it frosting on the top only like this picture in the service bulletin ? If so check the items that can cause frosting problems in the bulletin. Also make sure the drain is completely open and the evaporator fan motor is running at the proper speed.

Also one more thing. Relocate the thermistor to the location in the service bulletin.
