Timer motor will run to cool down part of cycle but won’t advance to off. The dryer ran from 10pm to 4am on cool down,

Hi Matthew, fortunately your model number did not come up for part research. Please make sure it is written down corrrectly and resubmit. Off the top of my head, (without having model number) it sounds like the timer motor could actually be bad, some Kenmore models have a separate switch that controls the cool down cycles. If it does have one of these switches, turn cool down to off and test timer on the same cycle as before and see if it shuts down when it gets to the cool down stage… I will be awaiting your response!
