last april defrost timer was replace for defrost reason drain problem did not start to about a month ago every week since drain keeps freezing causing evaporator motor not to run do to ice build up tried pitching refer back a little bit did not help

Hi. I have seen the drain tubes on these model of refrigerators clog many times, and then stop the fan motor from running. Have you cleared the drain tube yet? We need to access the drain tube under the evaporator through the floor of the refrigerator, carefully clear all the ice out. and flush some hot water down the drain. A turkey baster works well for this. You could even mix a little baking soda in with the warm water to give it a good cleaning. Once your sure that you have flushed it out really well and the water is draining out good, you can put the unit back together. I’m do not understand what you meant when you said you ” pitched the refer ” back a little bit. Let me know if you need any further help.

we have already cleared drain thoroughly several times and problem reoccurs within 10 days I meant pithing back refer by raising front legs on unit so refer is pitching back to help drain
