The subject refrigerator needs new door seals. I believe you just pull the old seals out of their grooves and push the new ones in. Is it this simple or is there something else I need to be aware of? Thank you.

It presses in. It helps to soak both gaskets in a hot bathtub about 10 minutes prior o removing and installing he new ones. This way, they lose most creases and go into the grooves smoothly. Technicians have discovered that they can use a hair dryer and place the new gasket in it for a few minutes to soften the gasket and cause the folded creases to relax. When they told me about this, I was very skeptic and thought the tumbling would break the magnet strip, but so far that has not happened. They tell me this speeds the process up and avoids the water mess and the clean-up afterwards
