after seeing what the technician did when he came to asses the fault on my washer i went and bought the part and installed it and tried to do the same but was unsuccessful in the programming part. i saw that he spin the drum of the washer slowly for a while but now i am doing it but dont know why. i am trying to save money here but it seems i would have to spend money for him to come and do the same thing. please help

Mervyn, If you replaced the part you should not need to turn the drum it should function immediately . Are you getting error codes ? Is it not starting ?

no it is just sensing that’s all. i did another diagnostic test and it showed just the sensing indicator blinking which suggest that there is no error. i have one other concern, i only have one hose connected because the threading on the Y connector is worn out. could this be the problem why it is just sensing?
