Unexpectantly the dispenser hatch rapidly opens and closes and if the dispenser is set to water it comes out each time the dispenser opens and closes. What is the cause of this problem? The customer said she googled it and found it is a common compalint. Is this so?
The main problem is not trickling water but that whenever the dispenser WANT’S TO; ALL ON IT’S OWN ACCORD it , at any time opens and closes its hatch for 10 second’s or more then stops. Without ryme or reason. Wouldn’t this be a circuit board issue? and call for replacing it?

Hello
There is not a service bulletin with this issue so far. We have seen this issue in the field and have called factory support for answers. They said to replace the water inlet valve , if it does not seat properly when not energized it will trickle out water. It has corrected some but not all of the cases. I think this is an engineering defect they are working on and have not corrected . I believe in the near future there will be a service bulletin update with a correction. Matt Ace technician
