This is a LG 4-door fridge and I want to verify that the evaporator fan is working in the freezer section. I don’t know how to simulate the freezer door being closed when dismanteled.

Hello, I did not find that exact model but one that is very similar. I have attached the service document for that unit is should help you trouble shoot the issue you are having.
