Can when you install the boot anything interfere with the door lock? I did have to take the door lock off the front door. It only has three screws and when back on the same way.

What have you tried so far?
All the springs are in the right places. They say tries to unlock the door but just busses. Can anu thing ca use this problem that you are aware of….

The gasket could be pushing the door out if it is not installed just right. I would check that gasket. Make sure the door is closing and latching easily. The latch is getting power since it is humming. Check for damage to the latch and maker sure the wires are hooked up correctly to it.
