The broil element was staying on. I replaced the control board and that fixed it for about 3 months. Then it started doing the same thing. The broil element would stay on. Not sure what else it could be. Could I have gotten another control board with a sticking broil element relay?

What have you tried so far?

Tested continuity at the broil element. Continuity tests fine. Tested voltage at the broil element and has 240v even when the oven is off.

Hello
See the schematic link attached. The broil element is controlled by the main control board and is wired in series with a thermal fuse only. It looks like you have a broil relay stuck. Matt Ace technician

I have replaced the control board and when doing so I tore the ribbon connector so I ordered a new keypad membrane (WP8272997) and I get no input when I touch the buttons. I’ve replaced both the control and membrane again with new ones and I still get the same result. No input at all from the buttons. The display just says PF and the clock works.
  • Thats seems strange. Check your incoming voltage and wiring. I had a similar issue that ended up being burnt wirers at the terminal block.

Checked them and they look great and test fine. I’m at a loss with this one.
