I also have a stainless outdoor vent hood by Broan (looks like most others), as noted in the User Manual. Naturally, I cannot find the sliding rheostat switch that controls the fan. The fan motor was just replaced by another servicer, and he could not find anything to work. He does not have the advantage of the PSA network, either, which is why I am asking you guys. The unit has a light/fan rotary switch, and a sliding tab to increase or decrease the voltage out. It is the rheostat I need!. Are these by any chance fairly generic?
Here is a link for their online lookup. I could not find your model but it has all the contact info if you click on the word Broan. Also Marcone is a Broan parts distributor. If it is the slider Rheostat that I think it is, there is a light switch and pilot light that comes in that assembly. Hope this helps .
