I’ve noticed that the top drawer fills with water slowly after a wash cycle. The bottom drawer is fine. If I don’t run it for a while, the water continues to fill. I’ve read that it could either be the water inlet valve or the drainage hose. I believe that the drainage hose is positioned high enough with a loop such that water can’t come back in.
In my debug mode, I’ve since shut off the water source into the dishwasher and I’m hoping to wait a few days to see if the top drawer continues to fill up.
Are there any other tips that might be useful? (I’ve watched the YouTube video for repair of the inlet valve).
Are there other troubleshooting things that I can do to narrow in on the problem?
Thanks,
Jon

Hi. Yes, it does sound like your inlet valve is faulty. You can also shut off the power to the unit and turn the water back on. If it still fills with water then you can rule out the control board sending power to the valve to open it when it shouldn’t be. You should be able to see the water coming out of the fill port. This would also verify its the inlet valve and not coming from the drain hose. I have attached a video if you have not seen it already. Also call (800) 830-5465 for any parts needed.
