Hi, I have a Amana gas dryer and the dryer won’t turn on. Every time I push the start button, it will trip my house circuit fuse. I tried plugging in a different outlet it will trip that before I even push the stat button. I unplug the wire on the machine that spins the drum and it will also trip the fuse, (I mean with some wires unplugged and pushing the start button it will still trip the fuse). Do you have any ideas where the issue is?
replaced house fuse, and checked for burn out wires.

Kou, It sounds like you may have a dead short in the motor. This is a direct short and will blow the circuit every time. You can remove the motor and have it tested at a parts store. Matt Ace technician
