Americana Refrigerator A4425GDTAWW. Not cooling, freezer wall all froze up. This does not have a defrost timer, but a board. My question is, how do I manually put into the defrost cycle? I see on one plug on the board, it has three leads, one is line, one is defrost, and the other is compressor. How do I go about manually checking things out? Can I check the heater and thermostat in freezer from the board?

See the link on how to test the defrost heater and thermostat. If they have continuity or amprege, you have a defective board. Matt Ace technician
