GE cooktop that doesn’t stop ingniting. We have replaced the spark module and the wire harness switches, problem continues. Any suggestions as to what it could be?

Hi. I can not think of any other parts that would cause this issue. The spark module and the switches are the only parts that would cause that. Unless you have a shorted wire somewhere or water got in side. It is common for us to go on calls for this symptom after some one has boiled something over or spilled something on the switches. I will have them unplug the unit for 24 hours to let it dry out and that will usually take care of the issue and if not replacing the switches or spark module will do the trick. I do not see any other electrical parts on this unit.
