How do I get it back to normal? I can’t find our book for it and have been looking online but haven’t found the answer. I’m assuming it’s really simple but can’t figure it out.

I noticed ice in two of the top back panels. I unplug unit for 12 hours and then took off back panel to find a small amount of ice in top near fan. I have had no problems with cooling temps, freezer or standing water in drawers, I just noticed the ice. The drain heater was misaligned with a large amount of rust. A video said to use a copper #12 wire to keep drain plug clear. However, I am not sure if this was an issue as there was no ice showing in that location. So I am I am not sure how to proceed. Should I test heater and sensor? I am afraid to remove defrost heater since I have not had a cooling issue but I also do not want ice build up again.

Thoughts and thanks

Every time i open the door and all throughout the day i here a noise that sounds like a pump trying to cut on. I have opened the door and it sounds like it is water or something trying to come through the lines where there is a container of some sort back behind the drawer and behind a cover. It looks like a water bottle. I don’t think this should be coming on all the time. Any help would be great.

experiencing frequent Unbalanced Load error codes from her Samsung top load washer, model wa476dshawr/a1. The unit is firm on the floor and level. The error occurs regardless of the load size or type. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I noticed this because I cleaned behind my washer and dryer and there was a small area that looked like water had accumulated there before. Not sure if that’s a problem or not? Cleaned it up and put a small towel there to see if I can catch anymore when it happens. Is something broken or leaking inside?

As far as I can tell, there is a fan in the freezer that when the door is closed, it starts to spin and gets loud. When the freezer door is opened, it stops. There is also lots of ice starting to build up on the walls of the freezer.

Hi i have a problem with the freezer coils freezing over with ice, the code flashes 3 but i just watched your video about the heater wrap around the freezer being replaced, the freezer drain is always frozen solid and wont drain without a lot of effort on my part to make sure it is clear, now the fridge side is getting a pool of water under the bottom drawer. looking forward to hearing from you, thanks for such a great site to come to for help!!! Ken
P.S. it is my understanding that the code means it is a sensor for the heater. ???

refrigerator isnt cooling in fresh food or bottom freezer also no fans ecept for compressor fan. Diagnosis showed freezer defrost sensor. after replacing sensor let run for 24 hours still no cool or fans. checked power board had 5 and 12 volts. replaced main control board. could hear Bottom freezer fan run after holding in light switch for 30 seconds. still no ff fan. Run diagnosis indicated main board was running fan. removed back cover and checked for voltage at fan connection. voltage was 0. also noticed coils were not frosting. assuming bad compressor or possible leak but would this cause the fan to shut down. will go out tomorrow and stick some gauges on it. Any help would be appreciated. Customer fridge has been down for four days

I watched replacing video and it was Excellent. I however don’t have a meter to check it after installing. So I tried powering up dryer after I was done and it kicked breaker right away. Trying to figure out where I went wrong. Dryer was working fine except for broken hearing element. I did take fuse and thermostat to work where guy checked them and they were working. Did I ground dryer while reassembling?

Fridge freezes behind the back panel until the fan at first makes noise (hitting the ice) then stops and the fridge starts to get warm. When I remove the back panel I can see the ice is everywhere and there is a big lump of Ice around a wire or tube on the right, then at the bottom of the evaporator (I think that’s what you call it) so the drain at the bottom is all iced over. I have gone thru this process of taking it apart and defrosting it, each time within a few weeks we are back to square one. I saw a video of one of your guys fixing an issue in a very similar model in a video on your site called “Refrigerator Repair – Not cooling properly, freezing up on the back panel -Samsung – RF266AEPN” I Looks exactly like my issue, I just need to know the exact parts I need to do the job. Can you help.

Have been managing the non-existant defrosting by completely thawing out the unit every 5 or 6 months. After the last thaw, the fridge is now freezing everything in the bins and on the lower levels. It sounds as though “something” is trying to kick in every so often, but never does. Don’t know what to do now.
Thanks

My refrigerator started to make a noise and then the temp started to drop. I noticed that the back panel had ice in the holes so I got everything out of fridge and freezer and unplugged it for 24 hours. I plugged it back in and everything started to work until 2 months later the noise came back and I noticed the ice again in the back panel. Right now I have everything out of the fridge and freezer and have unplugged it. What can I do to not have to do this every 2 months?

Thank you!

With reference to the above, the frigde was not cooling. Therefore I took the back off & used a hair dryer to get rid of any ice. I used the hair dryer for 30 minutes then I dismantled the fridge. I continued to dry for another 30 minutes on the internal parts & then reassembled. I plugged the fridge back in at approximately 1700hrs. The temperature read 20C & when I replaced the food the temperature rose to 25C. It is now 1900hrs & the temperature is 17C!

Please help?

Hi, I have a Samsung dryer that is running but just not heating. I have replaced the Heating element and checked all of the thermostats, thermistor, relay and power. All are good. There is no lint blockage and the blower turns with the drum. I then took the entire heating element with housing and thermostats into a local repair shop for them to test and everything was good. I was instructed to disconnect the two wires from the relay and connect the blue and black wire together to try to get heat which again resulted in no heat. The local repair shop said that he knows of nothing else to check. Am I really out of options? Please help.

The freezer is set at -4 degrees on the digital display and seems to be working properly. The fridge is set at 34 degrees and still shows 34 degrees on the digital display but is much warmer. I vacuumed the coils and seems to run OK. Please help me diagnose the issue.

Thanks,

David
