There was a field change on the freezer section ice maker to keep the water chute from icing up. It was some kind of insulator I assume, but it shriveled up to uselessness and needs replaced. I cannot find the part from the diagram. Ice builds up and causes the water to be partially diverted. Where can I find these and how do I get modifications on various appliances.

Is the brown selonoid supposed to energize every time the water dispenser is used or the icemaker calls for water. I’m not getting 120v when dispenser is pressed

Order the Module, dispenser – part 242074204 which they substitute with part 24074216. The part looks a little different but the big issue is the wiring harness is totally different. So what do you do with a part like this?

Unique situation here! Ice maker not making ice, no water was in the ice maker. The problem here on this unit is, the display on the user interface is messed up and can’t tell what I am doing in diagnostic mode. I did get the ice maker to twist, however I’m not sure if this style of ice maker can function in that manner and still not activate the water valve. Second part of the problem is, homeowner doesn’t want to pay to have display fixed, just ice maker. Any suggestions would be great!!!

My question is what would cause the F30 error code to come up I did a preliminary search and found it had something to do with the oven probe or the main control board I tested the resistance of the oven probe and had 1.097K which looks to be correct . The manuals that I downloaded off the Frigidaire site did not have anything corresponding or any information on error codes .
I would like to confirm that the main control board needs to be replaced after checking the probe if that is what the F30 error code means

WATER IS DRIPPING INTO THE TUB WHEN THE UNIT IS NOT IN USE. IF I TURN THE WATER VALVE OFF THE WATER WILL STOP DRIPPING, I BELIEVE ITS THE WATER INLET VALVE, AND THE PART NUMBER IS 137465101
BEING THAT IT IS A STACK ABLE UNIT ITS A BIT HARD TO GET BACK THERE AND WORK ON IT. WHAT WILL BE THE BEST WAY TO CHANGE IT AND YOU HAVE A VIDEO ON IT

THANKS

I checked for the 13vdc at the board and replaced the fan but it still didn’t work. I checked for the 13vdc again and it only showed 7 vdc. Is it the board? It is not in the wiring is it? Isn’t there a way to check the motor with a 9volt battery and how would I do it at the board to check the wiring to the motor first before I replace the main board? I have the tech sheet. Is there any information or video about this problem?

The water supply is good. The voltage to the primary valve at the brown harness is only 66vac. Isn’t it supposed to be 120vac? The voltage to the dispenser silnoid it 120. I tested the triac at the brown harness tan/yellow and the blue harness at the yellow and blew and it checks good. Is that a proper way to test it? Does the voltage supply come through the main power board? If so then is it the problem? Any advice?

Good morning. I did not see the fridge yet, but I was hoping that I could get some of the most common problems with this unit., and what to look for. Thanks, Todd from NY.

I need to wiring diagram for this unit, I am having an issue with the power supply to the water valve. Every time the ice maker goes into a fill the water comes out of the dispenser. When you press the water dispenser the water comes out as well.

At start of cycle door locks then pauses . at times it won’t release. I cannot get the service test to activate. Which is the left button under the display? There instructions are very confusing. I have the tech sheet but a service manual may help. Any videos on this would help especially on the diagnostic mode.

FRIGIDAIRE LP Gas stove, #FGF368GMH, the customer says when she uses the oven, it makes a boom sound. The customer ran the LP tank empty and after filling the tank, the noise started. When I take the cover off the burner, it is sooted up. Watching the bake burner, when it lights, only the rear two inches of the burner lights. I inspected the bake burner for restrictions, but the ports are clear. The stove top burners work fine with proper blue flame with occasional yellow tip.
I checked the oven bake orifice, it is clear. I suspect some type of contaminate is restricting gas to the bake burner. I have never replaced a gas regulator or gas valve before. How can I prove it is one or the other? Is there some type of screen in either one of these that could become blocked? If so, is this something I can clean.Since the stove top burners operate fine, should I focus on the gas valve?

It will not respond to any command and will not clear and this code is NOT in the tech sheet in the unit. What does it mean? Is it indicating a stuck key pad?

only the heavy wash and high temp dry buttons work or will light up and when you push the start cancel button nothing happens. When you close the door the display lights up but the wash light does not come on and nothing happens. after a minute or two the display shuts off. Ocassionaly it will work bit only on heavy wash and high temp dry.
I replaced the control panel and the same thing happens. Your video showed the same symptoms and was resolved by changing the control panel. I am hoping I do not have to change the control board as that is another $100 + part.

Ran through diagnostic mode it flashed the lights indicating it was the main board malfunctioning. Replaced main board. Still won’t complete the cycle. Could it be the board below the drum? Ran fine when I left the appointment. But sometimes it took longer then usual to drain. When I ran through diagnostic mode. Tested it 4 times before I left.

This oven is new, customer says that it has not worked since she moved in a few months ago. The igniter will glow, but the valve won’t open. I pulled an amp draw of 3.27 amps. We changed valve, still not lighting. Which part is bad?

Customer said she heard a noise like an air compressor. She checked frig and found it was not cooling. She unplugged it.
When I arrived, I plugged unit in and compressor and fans came on. No unusual noises. This unit has an invertor board connected to the compressor. I unplugged frig, and inspected connections. Two minutes after unplugging, I plugged it back in and heard the compressor make several attempts to start before starting. Initially, I thought the invertor board may be bad, but in researching it, I found they either work or not. Is this true?
After the compressor started, I let the frig run. within 15 minutes, the freezer temp had dropped 12 degrees and was blowing cold air in the freezer from the evaporator fan. I left a message for the customer to check the temp and let me know but she has not returned my call.
Any suggestions?

I replaced the dispenser module first and that didn’t help at all. Then I reinstalled the old one and replaced the main control board, and that seemed to fix it then after three trouble free days then it started again. Now what do I do? Is the display a possible cause? It is almost $500.00. Any other ways to try to determine what is the problem?

This customer I have is a very good lawyer and talked with Frigidaire and they told him that a compressor vibration is causing this problem. I haven’t tried the dispenser board yet waiting for him to talk to Frigidaire. Do you have any idea what they may be talking about? Is it the harness or a wiring issue they are referring to or was it just this manager trying to get him off the phone?

When I arrived it was on the normal dial setting and will not allow to change it. When I push start it flashes “err” . No error codes. When I press the cancel and start it flashes “err” and not error code. It will not cancel. There is not tech sheet in the unit. It makes no difference to unplug it for several minutes, it still come on the normal cycle and will not change from it and repeats the same symptoms. What does the “err” mean? Do you have a tech sheet or service manual and any experience you could share on this problem?

The dial will rotate but DOES NOT change from the normal setting. So I cannot do any diagnostics to it. It stay on the normal LED no matter where I rotate the dial, and if I press any button the “err” flashes. NOTHING Else happens. It won’t program or tell me any other code.

It is as though the control is frozen and will not clear . Does this indicate that the main control is bad?

Dispenser Problem/ Repost from yesterday
Refrigerator Frigidaire
Unexpectantly the dispenser hatch rapidly opens and closes and if the dispenser is set to water it comes out each time the dispenser opens and closes. What is the cause of this problem? The customer said she googled it and found it is a common compalint. Is this so?

The main problem is NOT trickling water but that whenever the dispenser WANT’S TO; ALL ON IT’S OWN ACCORD it , at any time opens and closes its hatch over and over for several second’s then stops. Without ryme or reason. Wouldn’t this be a circuit board issue? and call for replacing it?

I replaced the dispenser module first and that didn’t help at all. Then I reinstalled the old one and replaced the main control board, and that seemed to fix it then after three trouble free days then it started again. Now what do I do? This dispenser module you sent is the one I replaced. 242100019 Sorry for the confustion. Any other suggestions

Did you and the factory technicians determine what is causing this?
