Can you explain the exact error code you are getting on the display.

See manual links below. the F7E3 error code is a Basket Engaged During Wash error. Fault code is stored when the main control determines the shifter is not engaging the basket for spin or disengaging it for wash.

  • Check shifter connectors.
  • Check for clothing or another item wedged between the impeller and the basket that could bind them together.
  • Check that the shifter slider moves freely.
  • See TEST #3a: Drive System – Shifter in service manual link.

Go to the service manual link below. Then go to page #32 diagnostics and test #14 spin test. It will then give you the fault codes to determine you issue.

check water pressure to both hot and cold hoses. If proper pressure will need to enter diagnostics and manually check both hot and cold pressure to unit. If no pressure between either hot or cold will need to check valve for proper voltage. If getting proper voltage will need to replace valve, if not getting proper voltage will need to replace control.

Unfortunately we do not sell any parts at all but if you go to Sears parts direct.com they have schematics and parts breakdowns on their website for your model number. They also have drop shipping direct to consumer. It’s your best route to go for parts.

See the service manual link Below. The drain pump diagnostics are on page #18 and #19 in the service manual link. Your second question is on the dv448gp/xaa. We normally start with the drum roller kit. The drum rollers are sealed bearings and are very common to make noise when they wear out. I would start there if its making noise.

See the service manual link below. If you have water and are not dispensing ice, you may have a defective auger motor. The auger motor is what turns the shaft in you ice bin to push the ice out. See page #46 in the service manual section 4.6 for auger motor details.
