So what is the case if I do the test and A. It dose perform the test? B. The test dose not work.
  • IF it fills with water you know its getting water and the ice maker does run. As long as temps are cold enough to make ice, door switches are good- if this unit requires the door to be shut for the ice maker to cycle then it would lead to the ice maker being at fault. If this ice maker does not go through the test make sure your door switches are good if applicable and that you have power to the ice maker . If it does not fill with water check for fozen lines or a faulty inlet valve.

Well if the fridge has water shold it not mean that the water inlet valve is good?
  • The inlet valve consists of 2 separate valves. One for the dispenser and one for the ice maker. So you could be getting water to dispense just fine and have a bad valve on the ice maker side.

So I have done the test with the jumper wire and nothing happened I’ve done it with the door open and I held the door switch to make as if the door was closed and still nothing happened I tested the wire connection I tested the White and the green wires I tested the white and the green wires with the lights on meeting to door open I’m getting is 0.227 volts with the door closed I’m getting 0.184 volts
  • Sounds like your not getting voltage to the ice maker. Check at the plug where the ice maker plugs in at from black to white to see if you have 120v

    i do not have 120
  • Make sure you check with the door switch closed. If still no voltage check that your door switch is good.
