Since you can cycle the unit manually and you have a proper water supply the only other control in the circuit is the main Electronic Control Board Part #: DA92-00384B . I have consulted with two other technicians and they all agree the main board is the only other possibility that will prevent the ice maker from cycling.

Can you tell me where the main board is located?
-
It’s located on the top of the refrigerator.

OK so the main board is replaced. Very easy to do thanks to your video. The ice maker is replaced. The door switch seems to work as designed and my fridge will still not make ice automatically. If I push the re set button it dings and clicks and then drops a tray of ice but only once. Any suggestions? Is there a diverter valve or solenoid? Can restricted water flow from the filter be the cause? It seems like when filling a glass of water the water stream is not as powerful as it was at one time.

Very odd. You have replaced all parts possible besides the switches for ice production. You verified the switches were good. You can try taping the switches down so we know they are closed. The doors may not be closing them all the way. Check all your wiring connections. Its not very likely but you could have gotten a bad part also.

Is there a water valve on this fridge that changes water from the water dispenser to the ice maker? Also you say switches in your last comment. I have only checked one switch.
