It's easy to forget your shower caddy (or perhaps ignore it) when you're cleaning the bathroom. A dirty shower caddy is full of mildew and scum that can make the cleanest bath tub look...not so clean. To get around this, simply throw your shower caddy into the dishwasher with little to no elbow grease required.
With holes and crannies, shower caddies are notorious for accumulating excess water and debris from your soap bottles. Since scrubbing the caddy yourself takes extra time you don't feel like putting forth, save yourself the hassle, and toss your shower caddy into the dishwasher. The dishwasher will do the dirty work for you--just wipe off any scum lurking behind once it has been through the cycle. By the way, it's probably a good idea to toss the caddy on the top rack of your dishwasher--especially if it's made out of plastic.
Apart from shower caddies, a dishwasher can also be used to clean soap dishes, bathtub drain plugs, rubber bath mats, faucet handles, shower-heads, and toothbrush holders.
