From baked goods, fresh bread and rolls, your counter space is (more than likely) overcrowded and cluttered by a delicious carb party. If you don’t go through your bread or like items quick enough, consider storing them in your microwave—it’ll keep breads and baked goods fresher longer. Your microwave is reasonably airtight. This helps your breads and other edibles that don’t need to be cold protected from drying out and mold spores. Plus, the microwave is a pretty clean place to be. Instead of lugging around a breadbox and using even more counter space, your microwave is the perfect substitute. Of course, when you store your breads and foods that don’t require refrigeration in your newly acquainted breadbox, make sure your microwave is at room temp. It’s a quick way to free up your counters, get rid of the clutter, and keep your food fresher. You can’t go wrong with that.
