Making a caramel popcorn bowl is a simple recipe for a snack made from microwaved popcorn and melted caramel bits. Naomi Imatome-Yun over from WonderHowTo explains how to make such a delicious treat.
You’ll first want to prepare 2-4 cups of popcorn and melted caramel bits in two separate bowls. It’s best to use salted popcorn –whether it’s airpopped or from the bag—to bring out the best flavors. Also, instead of dealing with legitimate caramel, the bits are the best for this snack as they deliver a smooth, delicious, sticky consistency after you nuke ‘em.
Next, pour the melted caramel goodness in a large greased bowl and quickly stir in your popcorn until it is fully coated. If you want to get a little crazy, you could add in peanuts or pretzel pieces for a delicious twist. Once you have caramel corn, take a smaller bowl that’s greased on the bottom, and smoosh it on top of your mixture. This is the most important step since you’re creating your bowl shape. Afterwards, allow it to cool for 15 minutes in your refrigerator, and then you can pop out the bowl.
Add an appetizing fruit salad, or more popcorn into the caramel bowl, and you just made yourself a delicious treat to devour. Yum - how good does that look??
