Hard water stains are unsightly and ugly. After you clean your bathroom or kitchen fixtures you expect shiny results—not spotty stains. Lime and other various mineral deposits are the culprits of hard water stains. While there are many cleaners out there made to remove the stains, they often contain hazardous chemicals that quite frankly aren’t worth the risks. A cheap, easy, and natural method to remove these stains are….lemons. That’s right. Lemons. Simply cut a lemon in half and scrub your chrome fixtures or appliances with your half cut slice. The citric acid from the lemon will dissolve the hard water stains, leaving your chrome shiny and sparkly, as it should be. Not only will you have a stain-free kitchen or bathroom, but the fresh aroma of lemon will be lingering in the air.
