If you own a Keurig 2.0, a magical machine that brews coffee from a little pod to a perfected cup of coffee, there’s no need to brew with only their licensed K-cups anymore.
In the anonymous video below, some hackers found the easiest way to dumbfound your Keurig. You can brew competitor pods by placing the lid of a used Keurig K-cup on top of the off-brand cup in your machine. Push the button, and you’ve got yourself a cup of coffee in an instant.
Your other option is to snip off part of the used K-cup lid, and tape it to the upper left part of the lid where the sensor is, a rectangular space, for a permanent solution. According to KeurigHack.com, a little tape and “not much AIM” will do the trick.
It’s an easy way to use all of the types of cups you want, giving you choice and options of what kind of coffee you want to drink.
