Ever wondered what happens behind your dishwasher’s closed doors when turned on? Look no further, today is the day we solve one of life’s greatest domestic mysteries due to humankind’s portable technology, the GoPro. Curious to see what’s going on, YouTuber, Bito, grabbed up a waterproof GoPro camera (Hero 3), and stuck it right inside of the dishwasher. The user also managed to rig up a couple of different lighting sources for the best viewing experience. This time-lapsed video of a full wash cycle is condensed into roughly four minutes. The unique and unseen viewpoint of the insides of a running dishwasher video took the YouTuber three tries to get it right due to overcoming the battery time and heat. The video was uploaded sometime last year, but has recently gone viral in the past week with well over three million views. Bito’s dishwasher looks like an older model. Newer dishwashers have propeller spray arms that clean dirty dishes more efficiently. It’s an interesting video that shows the fascinating yet simplistic nature of an appliance most of us wouldn’t know what to do without.
