Pegboard is awesome. Plain and simple. We’ve talked a lot about pegboards such as hanging your pots and pans on one, creating one in your laundry room, and have even discussed a DIY pegboard for storing your tools. What makes this workshop storage system super amazing? It’s hinged, and perfect for your work area especially if you’re looking for practical organization—and wall space is something that is often overlooked! This storage system is a series of pegboards mounted on a hinge to your wall, allowing you to flip through the boards like pages in a book. Instructables DIYer, NEIN, shows you how to construct your hinged pegboards that will take a good weekend to do. You will need some equipment and materials like a few pieces of 1/4” pegboard, hinges, bolts, locking nuts, plywood, elastic cord, brackets and screws. If you’re feeling really spiffy, you could even color coordinate each side of your pegboards with paint to organize and theme your tools. Go on and get organizing.
