Refrigerator dill pickles are tastefully economical. With a zesty, tangy and crispy crunch, you can’t go wrong. We’ve discussed making freezer jam, ice cream in a bag and microwave brownies, so when we came across this super easy pickling task, we couldn’t resist. We’re huge food junkies around here, and what better way than to use your appliances for deliciousness? Exactly. Refrigerator pickles are cheap and quick to make. Annie from Annie’s Eats has an awesome recipe to make simple refrigerator pickles. Here are the ingredients you need: 3-4 16 oz. jars 1 bunch dill 4 cloves of peeled garlic 3-4 cucumbers 3 cups water 6 tbsp. distilled white vinegar 3 tbsp. kosher salt Put it all together: You’ll first want to add garlic and dill to each of your jars. You can add even more flavor if you’d like. Why not add some chopped up onion, more garlic or hot peppers for a little spice in your life? Then, cut up your cucumbers. Spears or chips? The big question of the day. Cut them to your liking—and toss them in the jars. Next, mix together your water, vinegar and salt. Pour your mixture into the jars until they’re full. Annie suggests topping your pickles with a little more dill (we can’t complain with that). Fasten on the lids, and place your delicious concoction inside of your refrigerator for a couple of days. Eat away! They’re now ready. Yum.
