Is your refrigerator door a mess, crammed with condiments? If so, Alton Brown is here to save the day. So the next time you’re laying the ketchup and mustard thick on a veggie dog, you don’t have to get in a frenzy with your sauces. It’s as simple as using an egg carton. In the video below, Brown cuts off the lid of his egg carton and plops the carton base right in his refrigerator shelf. He then places each of his mustard bottles upside down right into each of the dimples. Hopefully you don’t have that much mustard—what does he do with all of that, anyway?
This method solves two problems…well, three if ya really think about it. Brown turns your refrigerator shelves into clutter-free organization, and by placing condiments upside down you don’t have to wait for the sauces to slide down. The third thing this does is an extra bonus—upcycling what you would have else already thrown away.
